Nicholas N. Rapisarda

Nick joins our firm after clerking for just over 2 years at the district court level. His practice will focus in Automobile Law, Commercial Transportation Law, and General Liability. While these are areas of focus, Nick was exposed to many different types of legal issues due to the nature of his clerkship and enjoys both the challenge of learning new areas of law and applying those areas that he has familiarized himself with. Some of these areas involve, contract disputes, medical malpractice, and criminal defense.  

In addition to litigation, Nick has experience working with startups and private businesses in contract formation and review, as well as compliance. Nick has worked in a wide variety of jobs which gives him a unique and holistic perspective on serving clients. While in law school Nick was a legal intern for Marvin Windows and Door, as well as judicial extern with the Honorable Judge Kevin Burke. Nick has also worked as an emergency department scribe, an executive assistant, market analytics researcher, and ramp agent for Delta Airlines. During his time at the airline Nick traveled to many countries and believes his interactions with a wide array of peoples and cultures has played a large role in making deeper connections and offering greater understanding for clients. 

Nick graduated from the University of St. Thomas, where he earned his degree in Neuroscience, with a minor in business administration. He then attended the University of St. Thomas School of Law. In addition to his studies, Nick conducted research through the biology department and played varsity soccer as a starter for four years.

In his free time, Nick stays active playing soccer, basketball, and volleyball. He also enjoys staying up to date on the newest in fitness and health, but has been known to take on various food challenges (such as eating a gallon of ice cream in under an hour). Nick is passionate about developing the whole person and stays very active both personally and professionally.
